
Haydn Tudor Jones (he/him) is a Performer, Director, Producer and Facilitator based in Wales, Northwest England and London. He has recently graduated from Rose Bruford College, where he studied European Theatre Arts, and currently works as the Student Union President at the College/
Haydn has a huge amount of experience working with people from all backgrounds. In 2024, he led the drama department at Camp Echo Lake in America, York.
He has also begun to establish himself in Eastern Europe, working with Slovak Theatre Company Prichod Godota as a Dramaturg and Movement Coordinator for their piece called Becka.
In 2023, Haydn Tudor Jones directed Burglars by David Rankin on behalf of Phoenix Theatre Company, which won the youth originality award at the Leverhulme Festival in Port Sunlight.
Under Haydn’s direction, he aims to bring alive working-class theatre, which aims to deconstruct theatre through the integration of historical context, contemporary political themes using devised performance techniques.
Haydn Tudor Jones opens the ensemble to absolutely everyone. Training should be available to anyone, regardless of age or ability.
From personal experience, Haydn understands that walking into a new space can be daunting. Therefore, breaking the ice is very important. Haydn uses techniques to build confidence and to make performers feel confident and appreciate the work they create!
Haydn firmly believes theatre is and should be fun. Theatre training does not have to be so severe. Through his training, he brings theatre into a safe environment through the use of play and traditional practices.
